Saka Tigrakhauda
塞迦族的一支
Mede guide. The pointed hats confirm Herodotus' description of the pointed-hat Scythians(西徐亞人) or Sacae. The Persians rendered this name as Saka and the Greeks as Skythai. The Chinese called them, at a later stage in history, Sai(塞).They come from the steppe north of the Caucasus, the Ukraine and north of Sogdiana and consisted of numerous subtribes. The Saka tigrakhauda means 'Sacae with pointed hats' and they are also called Massagetae(馬薩格特人). The pointed hat is a kind of turban. They offer bracelets, folded coats and trousers, and a horse.
